CANOPUS

Canopus is the name of one of the brightes stars in the night-time sky. It symbolizes the illuminating response of your intention in which you're engaged. Via yoga and shamanism we recover important information for your purpose. Mainly the physical practice of yoga playes a central part with Canopus-Star.

One of the aims of yoga is to calm the activtities of the mind. When we achieve this state of „no-
mind“, it is possible to touch a deeper level of consciousness – the soul – the essence of unconsciousness. Before the physical body expresses pain, ache and suffering, the soul has already absorbed the information. Therefore, the soul needs to be integrated in the session.

The client will be involved in the work. We will have an intake talk about your purpose and your experiences with yoga as well as states of trance for your soul. Usually the lesson will start  with yoga/ meditation. The choice of level of spiritual practice in the lesson is up to you.

About CHRISTIAN (* 1971)

There are only a few things in my life of which I know that they will accompany me my entire life. 
Yoga and the interest in shamanism have taken me on a spiritual journey that never seems to end. Both of these two paths involve  focussing, consciousness and energy.

In 2007 I was trained in vinyasa yoga by Lord Vishnus Couch in Cologne and was later inspired by Iyengar Yoga, which created a special part for my practice to find my own yoga path to teach.

In connection with my occupation as a qualified nurse in the psychosomatic medicine, I followed some advanced trainings in mindfulness (autogenous training, progressive muscle relaxation) and other personality developements.

There was a voice inside me calling me to come in closer contact with spiritual healing and energy. I got a clearer insight in how my ideas and experiences are linked together. Some rituals and methods can be easily combined in meditations, imaginations and breathing (>Yoga Nidra). In that same year I was instructed into Reiki Level 1.

In 2015 I moved to Den Haag and in 2016 Canopus-Star was established.
